Time

Time changes people, and people change over time. Children grow up. Relationships fade and new ones begin. In this series, I tried to examine the effects that time has on people. I looked at my own life and reflected upon how I have changed over the years. I am still young, but I am no longer a child. I have outgrown the toys I once cherished, and instead of dressing up dolls, I now dress up myself. I used to spin around everywhere I went with an eager smile, but now I often walk with my head down, lost in thought. Our tastes and interests change through the years, often impacted by the trends of the time period we are in. However, I think one of the most obvious effects of time occurs on us physically. We age over time - I look different than I did in kindergarten. Biology runs its course, causing us to grow taller and change in our physical appearance. Year after year we get older, eventually to find that wrinkles and grey hair have appeared, warning us that our time is running out.
